In which I make no excuses for the condition of my room but instead just delight in the bad behavior of two dogs.
Daisy is allowed on beds. Bubba is not. I think he finds that extremely unfair, as would I. It was fabulous last night to have a nice, warm doggo curled up in the crook that my bent knees make when I sleep on my side.

Soooooo
I think Facebook has killed this blog.
Planted four 30' rows of peas for the community market garden. Planted two 8' rows in my plot.
Was supposed to start my tomatoes, peppers, etc. this weekend, but haven't gotten off of my ass to do so.
Um, was in the paper again.
Uh.....have nothing else to report.

Aren't you jealous?
Reason #1: I now own a travel mug from the Law Offices of James Scott Farrin*. "Call the HurtLine!"
Reason #2: I have my performance evaluation coming up. This always inspires fun.
Reason #3: I've recently been in a situation where I am forced to overhear long, chatty conversations about topics that I find vapid, frankly. It's grating on my nerves very, very badly. Especially since the prosody of the speech is inextricably linked to the part of my brain that causes annoyance.
*Non-local readers note: this is a personal injury law practice that is famous for over-the-top ads airing during daytime TV. I feel famous.

Wow. I had over 60 birthday messages on Facebook. I feel like a star. I did end up getting a massage, which was great other than the freezing room. People are awesome. My mom called from the caribbean, my sister called, my nephew called....
I've had a great day. Thanks everyone.
What to do, what to do???
I've taken the day off of work, and I'm trying to figure out what to do. I'm thinking massage, but I have no idea where to get one. If you have any ideas about what a girl should do on a day off when she wants to treat herself, have at it!
Meanwhile, the UNC alumni association sent me birthday wishes. Hilarious!
